The setup process looks different depending on whether or not your company has a domain.

If you have a domain and will use it for your mail service:
  1. We add the domain to be used for mail to our server.
  2. A list of mail users is created in the MofficeSoft server, synced to be exactly the same as the list of existing mail users.
  3. The host name and IP (A record) in the MX record of your DNS server will be changed to work with the MofficeSoft server.
    Example: For a domain “yourcompany.com”, mail addresses may be expressed as “yourid@yourcompany.com”, and Mail/Collaboration Web application addresses as “office.yourcompany.com”.

  4. After entering the Mail/Collaboration URL to an Internet browser and logging in, you can fetch mail from other accounts through IMAP/POP3 fetching.
If you do not have a domain, you'll have to purchase one first.
When buying the new domain, you can add MofficeSoft DNS server information:
Primary DNS ns1.mofficesuite.com
Secondary DNS ns2.mofficesuite.com
After receiving your domain:
  1. MofficeSoft will setup your domain in the DNS server.
  2. Log into Web access URL through the postmaster(Mofficesoft administrator ID) account and add users.
Depending on the DNS' MX settings, setup may take anything from less than an hour to several days. If you requested a free trial for a secondary domain, setup will likely take less than an hour.

No, MofficeSoft Web applications can be accessed through Internet browsers without any further downloads. However, additional desktop applications for Windows and Mac as well as Android and iOS mobile device apps can be downloaded from the Web app and app stores respectively.
MofficeSoft software runs on Linux and utilizes MySQL, Maria DB, and Cassandra databases.
Our servers guarantee an up-time of 99.9%. The only exceptions are scheduled or emergency maintenance.
An MX record (mail exchanger record) instructs senders where to send mail for that domain. MX changes are typically affected by the time set in the DNS.
Edit the MX record after creating accounts for all the mail users in your domain. Changing the MX record before creating email IDs may cause your emails to bounce.

If the mail service supports POP3 access, you can easily fetch all mail by configuring a POP3 account in Moffice Mail settings. Simply input the POP3 server address, POP3 server port, and account information to start fetching.
Moffice Mail can replace Outlook or be used in conjunction, according to your needs.
